F1Zone.net lends support to young racer

F1Zone.net is delighted to announce that it will act as official Media Partners to young Romanian racer Alexandra Marinescu as she bids to climb the motorsport ladder.
Marinescu, 16, has been karting for the last seven years and for the past few seasons has competed in single-seater categories with a limited budget.
Marinescu is striving to compete in the second half of this year’s British Formula 4 championship, which visits some of the most prestigious circuits in the United Kingdom.
Marinescu is trying to raise $25,000 through a crowdfunding page in order to achieve her goal of racing in the category across the second half of 2016.
“Formula 4 is the next logical step in my career as I believe it will give me the right preparation for my future racing plans,” she says.
“Due to the high costs I was not able to enter any championships at the start of the year so I am now targeting participating in the second half of the British Formula 4 Championship.
“Any donation will help me get closer to reaching my goal and will be greatly appreciated.
“I know that I will be half a championship behind other drivers but I will build up my speed in every session and I am confident that I will find a good pace very soon.
“The main target for this half season will be learning and to secure some strong points finishes.”
